Villa Catalina sleeps six (plus cots) in three double bedrooms, one en-suite to the main bedroom. All the bedrooms have very comfortable beds, ceiling fans, security roller blinds, roller mosquito net blinds, bedside lamps, mirrors and chests of drawers &/or bedside tables. Each of the bedrooms have fitted large double wardrobes (some with shelves), with ample hanging space and hangers to satisfy all your requirements. The master bedroom (12'10", extending to 15'5",x9') overlooks the patio & swimming pool and has a double bed with an en-suite shower room, fully tiled with wc, bidet & vanity unit. Two bedrooms (10'6"x8'10" and 9'6"x8'9") have twin single beds and overlook the side & front gardens respectively.

The fully tiled family shower room with toilet & vanity unit is centrally situated between the two twin bedrooms for easy access.

The hallway (8'10"x5'4") leads into the lounge (16'4"x12'3") which is spacious and comfortable. With ample seating for 6, the fireplace is the focal point. Two upholstered settees, bookcase, small tables and a coffee table complete the furnishing.

A free to view Sky Satellite television with VCR & DVD Players and a CD/Tape/Radio system provide your entertainment. There are also DVDs, including some for children and a variety of cassette tapes and CDs to suit most tastes. Please note that the satellite TV has restricted free to view channels but does have BBC News (with Text), Film 24, Fiver, Five USA, CNN, Sky News, True Entertainment, True Movies, various cartoon & music programmes and Radios 1, 2, 3 & 4 all in English. If you have a Sky card you can insert this into the box and you may be able to view additional free to view channels but no terrestrial or premium channels.

The dining area (12'x9'10") is between the lounge and kitchen and has a six place table (extending to 10 places) and 8 chairs. Tastefully decorated with matching curtains to patio doors and windows. There are also some books, maps, boules, board games, other games & playing cards held, which are available for your use. The dining area leads onto the covered terrace (naya) with traditional beamed ceiling and balustrades, (approx.18'x9'8"). The naya has an octagonal table for 8 & matching chairs, overlooks the swimming pool and is ideal for eating "al fresco", enjoying the views or relaxing under.

Spacious & modern kitchen (12'x8'5") with granite tops, comprises all the items you need for self-catering, either to prepare a simple English breakfast or full gourmet meal if required. The integrated electric cooker has an oven and a grill unit with a ceramic hob. The essential items of a large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, blender, iron, ironing board, extractor fan, sandwich maker and the usual pots and pans make up the inventory that completes the kitchen.

There are several pictures, plates and mirrors on the walls throughout the villa.

The villa has electric oil thermostatically controlled fixed radiators with timers in the two larger bedrooms, shower rooms, hallway and lounge/diner (two). There are also two freestanding electric fires which can be moved around.

Three free standing electric fans are available for your use in the summer in addition to the ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Villa Catalina is ideal for a self-catering holiday or as a base for sightseeing for families with or without children and the elderly.

Only 5 minutes drive to Calpe's two Blue Flag beaches, less than 1 hour's drive from Alicante airport and 30 minutes from Benidorm.

There is a private kidney-shaped swimming pool (approx. 8x5m), with underwater lights, Roman steps and a handrail surrounded by a tiled patio area & an outside tiled shower. The patio area is ideal for you to sun-bathe on as it catches the sun all day. Imagine relaxing with a cold drink on one of the 8 fully adjustable sun loungers on the surrounding tiled patio area and looking up at the crystal blue sky. The clear pool will be in pristine condition for you as it is maintained twice weekly in the peak period and weekly at other times.

A covered terrace has an octagonal table for 8 & matching chairs and overlooks the pool, ideal for dining. You can cool down and relax here in the shade with a meal, enjoy the views!

The paved BBQ area is adjacent to the pool patio, has a built in BBQ and a stone round table with matching benches, seating 6, also ideal for you to have "al fresco" dining.

The large private garden has a lemon and an almond tree, palms, bushes, cacti, bougainvillaeas & shrubs in a typical Spanish setting and a wall (with balustrades along one side) surrounding the property with secure gates.

Children can play safely in various areas of the gardens and can use the balls, buckets, spades, other beach toys and also pool lilos/toys.

A gardener comes once or twice a month to maintain the gardens. There is parking for 6/7 cars.
